Debra Jo Rupp joins fellow WandaVision cast members in Agatha: Coven of Chaos

January 5, 2023 by EJ Moreno

Another WandaVision cast member is joining the Coven of Chaos as Deadline reports Debra Jo Rupp will join Disney+/Marvel’s Agatha: Coven of Chaos, a Kathryn Hahn-led spinoff.

Debra Jo Rupp made quite the splash in her first MCU appearance, taking part in a wonderfully twisted scene in the first episode of WandaVision. She starred as Mrs. Hart and was featured in five episodes of the series.

Alongside Hahn’s Agatha, Rupp will join returning Emma Caulfield Ford, newcomers Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Sasheer Zamata, and Patti LuPone. The newcomers’ roles are all still undisclosed at the time of writing.

Rupp is best known for her time in the sitcom That ’70s Show. She starred as mom Kitty Forman, alongside Kurtwood Smith’s Red Forman. The duo will star in the upcoming Netflix spinoff That ’90s Show. The series will also see a return from actors like Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, and Tommy Chong.

Agatha: Coven Of Chaos comes from WandaVision’s Jac Schaeffer, who serves as writer and executive producer on the spinoff. Filming is set to get underway this month ahead of an expected premiere later this year.
