The 30th season for Gearbox Publishing and Cryptic Studios acclaimed MMORPG Star Trek Online will be arriving on 12th September on PC and on 1st November on Playstation and Xbox consoles. Star Trek Online: Incursion continues on from the multiverse storyline with a whole new threat for the crew of Starbase One.
After the previous season’s misunderstanding with the Tholians and the tearing of the Reality Vortex, the crew of Starbase One will face the problems of a new vortex appearing, one that has the Borg surging through it. Fortunately, during the attempt to repel the Borg, Starfleet gains the assistance of a powerful and mysterious ally.
This new season will feature Garrett Wang as Captain Harry Kim, Kipleigh Brown as Captain Kuumaarke and Erin Macdonald as Captain Kim’s new astrophysicist, Commander Erin Macdonald. Erin Macdonald is a real life astrophysicist, aerospace engineer and is the Star Trek science advisor as well as host of the YouTube channel, Dr. Erin Explains the Universe.
Star Trek Online: Incursion will include the following new features:
- New Episode – Taken by Surprise.
- A new Task Force Operation – Resistance of Starbase One.
- A new Task Force Operation – Guillotine.
- T6 Ship Upgrade Expansion. – Upgrade the T6-X to T6-X2 and unlock additional Starship Trait, Universal Console and Device Slots.
- Season 30 Event – Borg Tesseract. Players will be able to earn a three Piece “Adaptation” Ground Set and a free Starfleet Protostar Uniform.
- New Prodigy Lockbox featuring all-new Protostar Class Starship with Proto-Drive and Reformed Living Construct Console, gear and weapons from the show and five different coloured slime worm pets.
Star Trek Online: Incursion arrives this September on PC and November on consoles.
