Creepshow video game gets a first teaser trailer

October 21, 2023 by EJ Moreno

Creepshow was rumored to be entering the gaming world, and now the cult classic, started by horror icon George A. Romero, is officially a video game experience.

During the Indie Horror Game Showcase, developer DreadXP unleashed its first teaser. Sadly, no gameplay was shown, and there are no specifics about the Creepshow game as of yet.

Details are still heavily under wraps, though the complete list of developers working on the game will be announced later. The only information available is that the game will feature the talents of several renowned independent video game developers, and at the helm is The Mortuary Assistant developer Brian Clarke, serving as creative director.

Reports note that the project will follow the cult classic films and television series in retaining the anthology horror format, with a handful of horror stories that “cross gameplay genres and tone.”

For gaming fans, many feel the game will take on a slight Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc vibe. Only time will tell, but DreadXP will look to delight longtime horror fans with this. Check out the teaser below…
