Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire debuts new trailer for chilly New York-set adventure

January 29, 2024 by EJ Moreno

Ghostbusters is looking for a return to proper form with its latest film, a true comedy-horror trying to give fans a ghostly good time.

In the brand-new trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the story is fleshed out more, and we see more of our new and returning characters.

Many people online have noted that the film truly feels like Ghostbusters 3 instead of a wacky remake or a legacy sequel weaponizing nostalgia. The ghost-busting looks like a hilarious good time, and our characters seem to enjoy themselves. Check out the latest trailer below…

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire finds the Spengler family returning to where it all started, the iconic New York City firehouse, to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters, new and old, must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire sees McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Celeste O’Connor, and Logan Kim reprise their Ghostbusters: Afterlife roles alongside franchise veterans Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, and Dan Aykroyd with franchise newcomers Kumail Nanjiani and Patton Oswalt.
