Monster Run demo to be released during Steam Next Fest

February 3, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Iceberg Interactive and Interactive Fate have announced they will be releasing the very first demo of the upcoming dark fantasy beat’em up (with roguelite elements) Monster Run during the Steam Next Fest.  This new demo will provide players with the chance to experience the adrenaline pumping action first hand.

The Monster Run playable demo will feature five of the levels from the game’s 19+ level single-player game, where players will be able to experience the action across a number of different dynamic environments.  Players will also be able to encounter 28 of the 60+ types of units with each presenting their own challenges and strategies.  The demo will offer 8 different monster attacks/combos that can be mastered prior to playing the full game when it is released later this year.

In Monster Run, players become a giant fire-breathing cat that wants to defend its peaceful forest home against the greedy human empire. Players will be able to use swipes and strikes, punches and pounces, as well as the firebreathing, to cut down the armies of human soldiers and minibosses.

There’s fast-paced action, strategic combat and dynamic progression awaiting would-be monsters during the Steam Next Fest, running from 5th – 12th February. This Steam Next Fest is the time to stop hunting monsters and become one in Monster Run.
