X-Men ’97 poster reveals episode titles

March 8, 2024 by Ricky Church

With X-Men ’97 premiering in just a couple weeks, Marvel Animation has revealed a new poster with the episode titles and their premiere dates.

X-Men ’97 is a continuation of the beloved X-Men: The Animated Series which ran for five seasons from 1992 – 1997. The revival/sequel will pick up where the original series left off after Professor Charles Xavier, the X-Men’s leader, left Earth after succumbing to an injury with no cure. In the wake of his absence, Cyclops leads the X-Men to continue Xavier’s mission of peaceful coexistence between human and mutantkind.

X-Men ’97 will premiere with two episodes on March 20th followed by weekly releases. The episode titles and air dates are:

  • To Me, My X-Men – March 20
  • Mutant Liberation Begins – March 20
  • Fire Made Flesh – March 27
  • Motendo/Lifedeath, Pt. 1 – April 3
  • Remember It – April 10
  • Lifedeath, Pt. 2 – April 17
  • Bright Eyes – April 24
  • Tolerance is Extinction, Pt. 1 – May 1
  • Tolerance is Extinction, Pt. 2 – May 8
  • Tolerance is Extinction, Pt. 3 – May 15

In two weeks, tune in to the two episode premiere of Marvel Animation's #XMen97, only on @DisneyPlus. pic.twitter.com/Kuj5VfTgeN

The revival revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.

X-Men ’97 features Ray Chase as Cyclops, Jennifer Hale as Jean Grey, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, Cal Dodd as Wolverine, JP Karliak as Morph, Lenore Zann as Rogue, George Buza as Beast, AJ LoCascio as Gambit, Holly Chou as Jubilee, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Bishop, Matthew Waterson as Magneto and Adrian Hough as Nightcrawler. The series comes from Beau DeMayo as head writer with the 10-episode season directed by Jake Castorena, Chase Conley and Emi Yonemura.

X-Men ’97 will premiere on March 20th on Disney+.
