It was only a matter of time before casting rumors for Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery would begin.
The first two names to enter the conversation are the Hollywood rising stars Josh O’Connor and Cailee Spaeny. What’s On Netflix reports the actors are in talks for roles in the upcoming third Knives Out installment.
They’ll join Daniel Craig, who was announced to be returning as Benoit Blanc once again. The rest of the cast remains a mystery.
Little is known about the plot of the film. Daniel Craig narrates in the recently released teaser: “In the beginning, the knives came out. Then, behold, the glass was shattered. But my most dangerous case yet is about to be revealed.”

Cailee Spaeny has been riding high recently, fresh off her turn as the titular character in the biopic Priscilla and her starring role in this year’s smash hit Civil War from A24. She can be next seen in the upcoming horror film Alien: Romulus.
As for Josh O’Connor, the actor is known for The Crown, in which he played Prince Charles. He is also the third man in the love triangle drama Challengers, where he stars alongside Zendaya and Mike Faist.
