Sci-fi horror Retrieval gets stunning reveal trailer

August 23, 2024 by Andrew Newton

At this year’s Future Game Show, developer 333Studios revealed a new trailer for the highly anticipated horror adventure, Retrieval, which will be coming to PC and consoles. This absolutely stunning trailer (see below) shows our heroine Hana in the midst of the action and many of the threats that lay in wait for her.

This new trailer showcases real-time footage of the game using Unreal Engine 5 and NVIDIA RTXDI with sound designed by Wild Cat Records using Dolby Atmos technology. The end result is, as you can see, a game that looks beautiful and sounds amazing.

Retrieval follows the research team commander Hana Loshe as she races across the ravaged planet of Ryhalian in a bid for survival. Players will navigate their way through the rooms and corridors of a retro-futuristic base (complete with its own underground railway going by the trailer) and face dangerous challenges and even more dangerous adversaries.

As players journey through the game’s compelling storyline with themes on friendship, loyalty and horror, they will soon uncover the secrets that Ryhalian is hiding.

There’s no sign of a release date yet, but if Retrieval has piqued your interest then look out for more news coming in the future.
