October 29, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has shared a trailer and images for Senna, the biographical drama series which tells the story of the Formula One racing legend Ayrton Senna, played by Gabriel Leone, from the start of his racing career to his tragic accident during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix; take a look here…

Over the course of six episodes, Senna will, for the first time, depict the journey of overcoming obstacles, ups and downs, joys, and sorrows of Ayrton, exploring his personality and personal relationships. The starting point will be the beginning of the three-time Formula 1 champion’s racing career when he moved to England to compete in Formula Ford, all the way to the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.

Joining Leone in the cast are Alice Wegmann, Camila Márdila, Christian Malheiros, Gabriel Louchard, Hugo Bonemer, Julia Foti, Marco Ricca, Nicolas Cruz, Pâmela Tomé, Rodrigo Veloso, Susana Ribeiro, Arnaud Viard, Joe Hurst, Johannes Heinrichs, Kaya Scodelario, Keisuke Hoashi, Leon Ockenden, Matt Mella, Patrick Kennedy, Richard Clothier, Steven Mackintosh, and Tom Mannion.

Senna races onto Netflix on November 29th.
