Alien Frontier trailer reveals January launch on Steam Early Access

January 3, 2025 by Andrew Newton

After Hours Games has announced that their new open world, third-person shooter roguelite title, Alien Frontier, will be launching on Steam Early Access on 31st January.  A new trailer celebrating the release date can be seen below and showcases the world players will explore and the creatures they will meet.

In Alien Frontier, explore a vast procedural open world as an interstellar prospector.  Survive battles with hordes of bloodthirsty aliens and search out the wealth of resources hidden beneath the alien wilderness.  Once the valuable resources have been located, construct the means to extract them. Build huge tunnels deep into the mountains, massive mining rigs and many more structures.

There are lots of structures that can be built, with each transforming the landscape and rewarding player’s efforts with new upgrades and equipment.  Players will be able to discover over 100 unique items, upgrades and abilities and each run will provide a chance to combine loot in creative ways that can allow players to unleash devastating power upon even the most terrifying of alien.

Players will be able to use their jetpack, thrusters and even hoverboards to glide over the landscape and explore every corner of the world.  Battles against the deadly alien hordes will have prospectors on the edge of their seats as they grapple, dash, dodge and shoot through harrowing encounters.

Alien Frontier arrives on Steam Early Access on 31st January, and is available to add to your wishlist now.
