Rambo season coming to World of Tanks

Wargaming has announced their newest action-packed season, Battle Pass Special: Rambo, is coming to World of Tanks on 16th January.  Running until 30th January, this Battle Pass will make tank commanders release their inner warrior with the introduction of five iconic characters from the Rambo film trilogy, with the greatest reward being the Rambo tank.  A new trailer can be seen below showcasing the vehicles and characters available…

During this period, players will be able to recruit war veteran John Rambo through the Base Rewards Track, along with the antagonist of the first film, Sheriff Will Teasle.  The Improved Rewards Track will allow players to unlock the deceitful and corrupt CIA agent Marshall Murdock from Rambo: First Blood Part II.  There will also be special bundles available that will include Rambo’s trusted mentor Colonel Trautman and the fearless freedom fighter Co Bao.  All characters will feature a distinctive voiceover allowing players to experience some unique flair to each battle.

The ultimate reward for players during this season is the premium, high-tier vehicle, the Rambo Heavy Tank.  This vehicle screams John Rambo as it incorporates iconic movie elements such as a stylised log trap, a machine gun with  Rambo’s headband, Rambo’s signature knife and carved inscriptions.  

In addition to this tank, players can also enhance their battle experience with a themed 2D customisation, showing film-specific colour schemes that refer back to Rambo’s life in the forests of America, the jungles of Vietnam and the deserts of Afghanistan.

Get working towards that Rambo tank in World of Tanks on 16th January.
