The Ugly Stepsister trailer teases a dark reimagining of the Cinderella fairy tale

Shudder has shared a trailer for The Ugly Stepsister, the Norwegian body horror from writer-director Emilie Blichfeldt and starring Lea Myren, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, and Ane Dahl Torp.

The twisted reimagining of the classic Cinderella fairytale follows Elvira as she resorts to extreme measures in an attempt to outshine her beautiful stepsister in hope of winning the prince’s heart. Check out the trailer below…

Follows Elvira as she battles against her gorgeous stepsister in a realm where beauty reigns supreme. She resorts to extreme measures to captivate the prince, amidst a ruthless competition for physical perfection.
