Mega Man returning to comics with new series and classic collections

Mega Man is set to make his grand return to comics this Free COmic Book Day courtesy of UDON Entertainment with the arrival of Mega Man #0, and now the publisher has announced that it will follow that with a series of five one-shots exploring the different eras of the character’s history.

Releasing between May and September, Mega Man Timelines will cover the original classic, along with Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero, Mega Man ZX and Mega Man Legends; check out the details and covers here…

Mega Man Timelines #1 (May 2025)
Story: Tavis Maiden – Art: Kenny Ruiz

The Blue Bomber is back! MEGA MAN returns in five connected 1-shot comics spanning five different eras of robotic heroes! In this first issue, the original Mega Man squares off against two explosive and fiery Robot Masters bent on city-wide destruction! Fight, Mega Man! For everlasting peace!

Mega Man Zero Timelines #1 (July 2025)

Story: David Oxford – Art: Mic Fong

In addition to the new one-shots, UDON Entertainment has also announced that it will begin collecting classic Mega Man stories originally published by Archie Comics with a serious of oversized hardcover collections under the Mega Man Adventures banner, beginning with Mega Man Adventures Vol. 1 – A Hero Is Built.
