Marvel’s upcoming Vision TV series has made a new addition to its cast. Now joining Paul Bettany in the MCU series is Schitt’s Creek star Emily Hampshire who will take on the role of the AI program E.D.I.T.H.
E.D.I.T.H. was introduced in Spider-Man: Far From Home where the late Tony Stark posthumously gifted Peter Parker with the AI, granting him access to Stark Industries satellites, technology and weaponry to use as Spider-Man. She has not been seen or heard from since her brief mention in Spider-Man: No Way Home after Spider-Man’s identity was revealed to the world and Peter Parker was placed in legal jeopardy.
Vision, formerly titled Vision Quest, follows the events of WandaVision when the newly built version of Vision fled S.W.O.R.D. control to discover who and what he was on his own terms. Bettany is reprising his role, which he originally began as Tony Stark’s trusty AI Jarvis before becoming Vision, for the series.
Also joining Bettany is James Spader returning as the villainous Ultron alongside Iron Man’s Faran Tahir as Raza, the Ten Rings terrorist leader who kidnapped Tony and unwittingly began his transformation into Iron Man. New additions to the MCU include T’Nia Miller (The Haunting of Bly Manor) as Jocasta, the Bride of Ultron, Emily Hampshire (Schitt’s Creek) as E.D.I.T.H., Todd Stashwick (Star Trek: Picard) and Ruaridh Mollica (Sebastian).
Vision is slated to premiere on Disney+ on 2026.
