Disney has released a new poster and trailer for the long-awaited comedy sequel Freakier Friday.
Directed by Nisha Ganatra, the film sees Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan return to the roles of Tess and Anna and picks up over 20 years after their identity crisis and sees the mother and daughter discover that lightning can indeed strike twice.
In the film, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsday Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.
Featuring alongside the returning Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, Vanessa Bayer, and Mark Harmon.
Freakier Friday arrives in cinemas on August 8th.
