Coming off its world premiere earlier in the year at SXSW, IFC Films has released a poster and trailer for director Jay Duplass’ new comedy The Baltimorons.
Michael Strassner stars as Cliff, a recovering alcoholic suffering from a dental emergency who sparks an unexpected connection with his no-nonsense dentist Didi (Liz Larsen), leading the pair to spend Christmas Eve together for an evening of adventures through Baltimore. On Christmas Eve, Cliff, a newly sober improv comedian, cracks a tooth and lands in the emergency care of Didi, an older no-nonsense dentist. What begins as a routine check-up sparks an unpredictable evening of misadventures. Together, Cliff and Didi fight to overcome being shut out by their families, face their biggest fears, and discover their own surprising and tender connection.
