Netflix shares trailer for People We Meet on Vacation starring Tom Blyth and Emily Bader

Netflix has shared a poster and trailer for director Brett Haley’s upcoming adaptation of Emily Henry’s novel People We Meet on Vacation.

The romantic comedy stars Tom Blyth and Emily Bader as unlikely best friends who spent every summer vacation together, but after years of not speaking fate brings them together again forcing them to confront their feelings for each other.

Joining Blyth and Bader in the cast are Sarah Catherine Hook, Jameela Jamil, Lucien Laviscount, Lukas Gage, Miles Heizer, Tommy Do, Alice Lee, Alan Ruck, and Molly Shannon. Watch the trailer below…

Every summer for nearly a decade, free-spirited Poppy and buttoned-up Alex embark on a travel adventure, but after years of not speaking, one fateful trip brings them back together to confront their unspoken feelings for one another.

People We Meet on Vacation arrives on Netflix on January 9th.
