Bye Sweet Carole brings hand-drawn inspired horrors to PC and consoles

October 11, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Maximum Entertainment, Italian studio Little Sewing Machine and Meangrip Studios have announced the launch of their gorgeously animated horror adventure Bye Sweet Carole on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X,  Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Inspired by the golden era of hand-drawn animation, this new title takes players to a beautiful realm filled with dark fairy tales and nightmares. A brand-new launch trailer can be seen below…

Set in early 20th-century England, Bye Sweet Carole will have players follow the courageous young girl Lana Benton as she sets out on a perilous search for her missing friend Carole Simmons. Her search soon leads her to the ominous Bunny Hall orphanage, and then on to the mysterious kingdom of Corolla. This mysterious kingdom is controlled by the sinister Mr. Kyn, the ruthless owl Velenia, and a swarm of wicked tar bunnies.

Players must explore this dark and twisted kingdom and the eerie corridors of Bunny Hall, survive the creatures that live there and uncover the dark truth behind Carole’s disappearance.

Lana’s devoted companion, the kind Mr. Baesie, will accompany her on this journey while she solves puzzles, sneaks around enemies and overcomes platforming challenges. Should things get a bit too hectic, Lana can always transform into a rabbit and use different forms to escape the threats of Bunny Hall and Corolla.

Bye Sweet Carole is available digitally and also launches physically on PS5 and Nintendo Switch. A special retail version is available and comes with Reversible Coversheet with alternate artwork, Digital Original Soundtrack and a Digital Artbook.
