Power is changing in the Landman season 2 trailer

October 28, 2025 by Ricky Church

Paramount+ has released a new trailer for Taylor Sheridan’s Landman ahead of next month’s second season premiere. Starring Billy Bob Thorton as an oil tycoon in Texas, the trailer showcases him preparing for war – legal and otherwise – against Demi Moore for control of their oil company.

The trailer teases the upcoming fight Thorton’s Tommy Norris will have on his hands as he maneuvers himself to take control of M-Tex while Moore’s Cami Miller reveals secrets her late husband kept while running the company that would not only destroy it, but ruin the lives of many including Tommy’s.

Landman was created by Taylor Sheridan, who created Yellowstone and several other shows for Paramount+. Currently in Sheridan’s TV empire, Tulsa King is in the middle of its third season while the fourth season of Mayor of Kingstown will premiere this Sunday, October 26th. Lioness was also renewed for a third season and began production earlier this week.

As for Sheridan’s flagship Yellowstone, he is currently in development of several spin-offs which include The Dutton Ranch focusing on Beth and Rip, another prequel 1944 exploring the next generation of Duttons after 1833 and 1923, and Y: Marshals on Kayce.

As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris (Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble – it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.

Landman features Billy Bob Thorton, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph and Jacob Lofland with season two introducing Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan and Colm Feore.

Landman season 2 will premiere on November 16th.
