Exit 8 trailer teases Neon’s nightmarish horror video game adaptation

February 5, 2026 by Matt Rodgers

Neon has released the official trailer for Exit 8, their adaptation of the popular psychological horror game created by Kotake Create.

Directed by Your Name producer Kawamura Genki, the film follows a man trapped in a seemingly endless sterile subway passage who must find the titular way out.

Starring Kazunari Ninomiya (Letters from Iwo Jima) alongside Yamato Kôchi, Naru Asanuma, Kotone Hanase, and Nana Komatsu, you can check out the poster and trailer below…

“Based on the global hit eponymous video game created by KOTAKE CREATE. A man trapped in an endless sterile subway passageway sets out to find Exit 8. The rules of his quest are simple: do not overlook anything out of the ordinary. If you discover an anomaly, turn back immediately. If you don’t, carry on. Then leave from Exit 8. But even a single oversight will send him back to the beginning. Will he ever reach his goal and escape this infinite corridor?”

Exit 8 is in theaters from April 10th.
