EJ Moreno with a video review of Bodycam…

It’s hard to make found footage films feel scary in 2026, let alone make one that feels fresh or new. Shudder has a new release on its hands that will prove that wrong with the best found footage film of the decade.
Bodycam, which premiered on the festival circuit last year and is awaiting release on the horror streamer, hits fast and hard. The film is trippy and strange, twisting found-footage tropes with the right amount of surreal madness. But where Bodycam really shines is with the acting department; you don’t want to miss what actors Jaime Callica and Sean Rogerson cook up under the flow state of Brandon Christensen.

When two police officers show up to investigate a domestic dispute, a startling escalation leads to a tragic accident. Not wanting to be crucified by the public, the officers attempt to cover it up – only to reveal that their body cameras aren’t the only things watching them.
Bodycam is helmed by Brandon Christensen. The film stars Jaime Callica, Sean Rogerson, Catherine Lough Haggquist, Angel Prater, and Keegan Connor Tracy.
Bodycam is streaming on Shudder on Friday, March 13th.
