Jennifer Beals joins Taken TV pilot as female lead

March 18, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Jennifer Beals (The Book of Eli, The L Word) has signed on for the female lead in NBC’s Taken TV prequel, which will star Clive Standen (Vikings) in the Liam Neeson role of Bryan Mills.

Beals is set to play “Christina Hart, the Special Deputy Director of National Intelligence who has taken Mills under her wing. Cultured and powerful with a wealth of field experience, her current government position has her overseeing an elite team of operatives who take care of America’s national security emergencies.”

The Taken TV series will see Alex Cary (Homeland) serving as showrunner and will explore how Mills develops his particular set of skills.
