Publisher 7Levels’ hit 2.5D action-adventure game Kong: Survivor Instinct received acclaim when it released in October 2024. Now, 7Levels has announced they will release the game on the Nintendo Switch via the eShop on 30th September, bringing the excitement of Legendary’s universe to a new group of gamers.
In Kong: Survivor Instinct, when a Titan attack takes the city by surprise, a massive evacuation takes place. Unfortunately, not everyone makes it to safety before the chaos and devastation rains down on the city, and the protagonist’s daughter is one of those unfortunate ones.
In an official story set within Legendary’s MonsterVerse, players will venture through the city to seek out their daughter. On the way, they will encounter environmental destruction, iconic Titans and Alan Jonah’s ruthless mercenaries. Fortunately, players can use Monarch Tech’s ORCA Σ prototype to influence giant monsters to help create paths through the ruins and bypass other threats.
As well as defending themselves against both human and monster enemies, players will need to solve environmental puzzles to make their way through the deadly collapsing city. Navigate a maze of ruined structures, raging fires and toxic leaks, and master the physics-based platforming.
Kong: Survivor Instinct will be available for digital download on the Nintendo eShop on 30th September. For those who like their physical media, a boxed retail edition will also be released.
