With a little over three weeks to go until its premiere, HBO Max has shared a new trailer for its DC Studios series Lanterns, which features more of Aaron Pierre’s John Stewart and Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan, the return of Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner, a first glimpse of Ulrich Thomsen’s Sinestro, and the tease of a shape-shifting Manhunter; check out the trailer below…
The series follows new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, earth-based mystery with cosmic ties as they investigate a murder in the American heartland.
Alongside Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre, the cast of Lanterns also includes Kelly Macdonald as Sheriff Kelly, Garrett Dillahunt as William Macon, Poorna Jagannathan as Zoe, Sherman Augustus and J. Alphonse Nicholson as John Senior, Jasmine Cephas Jones as Bernadette Stewart, Ulrich Thomsen as Sinestro, and Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner.
