As we enter post-production on our upcoming Robert the Doll franchise reboot Robert Returns, Flickering Myth and Shepka Productions are pleased to announce the UK release of our suspense thriller Death Among the Pines on VOD/streaming platforms this September, courtesy of High Fliers Films.
Our second feature film after the gothic horror The Baby in the Basket, Death Among the Pines is directed by Nathan Shepka (Dead Before They Wake) from a script by veteran FM writer Tom Jolliffe (Cinderella’s Revenge), and features a cast that includes Nicolette McKeown (Mercy Falls, Damaged), Stephen Kerr (The Reign of Queen Ginnarra, Spoiling You) and Olly Bassi (Dick Dynamite: 1944, Masters of the Air). One night during a heavy rainstorm, a stranded stranger knocks on the door of Angela’s country cottage, claiming his car has broken down. Angela warily lets him in to shelter but soon after, a police officer arrives, asking questions, amid conducting a manhunt for an escaped criminal. Angela puts two and two together, but is there more to it than meets the eye?
Death Among the Pines will release in the UK on September 7th 2026, and is available to stream now in the US via Tubi.
