While our core writing team is currently in place, we do occasionally work with freelance contributors on a selective basis.

We are particularly interested in pitches in the following areas:
- Feature articles, including list-based content and long-form opinion pieces
- Genre-focused film and television reviews (particularly horror, sci-fi and action)
All contributions should demonstrate a strong understanding of the subject matter, a clear writing voice, and an awareness of Flickering Myth’s editorial style.

Flickering Myth is a Rotten Tomatoes-approved publication, and contributors may have opportunities to cover review titles, screenings and industry-related content.
Freelance contributions are paid, with rates agreed on a per-project basis.

Flickering Myth is also home to Flickering Myth Films, our production arm focused on developing and producing feature films.
