Kingsman: The Golden Circle adds Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal

April 9, 2016 by Scott J. Davis

Deadline has revealed that the hotly-anticipated sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle has added Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal to its ranks.

Following the arrival of the first teaser poster earlier this week, which alluded to Colin Firth’s Harry Hart potentially returning despite his apparent death in the first film, pre-production on the sequel is gearing up.

Pascal, who played Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones and also starred in Netflix’s Narcos, is reportedly set to play a character called Jack Daniels. He joins the returning Taron Egerton, Mark Strong and Edward Holcroft, with Oscar winners Julianne Moore (Still Alice) and Halle Berry (Extant) also set to appear.

Matthew Vaughn returns to direct the sequel, and has once again co-written the script with Jane Goldman.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is set for release on June 16th 2017.
