Wonder Woman set video shows Themyscira

A new video of the fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe, Wonder Woman, being filmed in Matera, Italy has surfaced online (via Comic Book), and it gives viewers a quick peek at the film’s sizable set and large cast of characters. The footage shows the shooting of scenes that take place on Diana Prince/Wonder Woman’s home island of Themyscira. It is on this island where Prince is raised to become a leader and warrior princess by her mother, Queen Hyppolyta (Connie Nielsen), and aunt, General Antiope (Robin Wright), respectively. Watch fully-costumed Amazonians of all ages roam the exquisitely designed streets of Themyscira below…

Wonder Woman will hit cinemas on June 2nd, 2017 with a cast that includes Gal Gadot (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (The Theory of Everything), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Said Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Force Majeure) and Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead).
