3 Movie-Based Slots that Almost Measure Up to the Original

May 20, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Before you say anything: no slot machine will ever measure up to a Hollywood blockbuster. The slots you can play, offered by the All Slots Casino at http://www.allslotscasino.com/de/ are, after all, simple games with little to no action, bearing a resemblance to the movies that serve as an inspiration for them – and the resemblance is only “skin-deep”, so to say. But this doesn’t mean they are not worthy of attention – especially since some of them manage to create the very same atmosphere the movies did.

Jurassic Park

This slot machine made some waves last summer, and maybe it was on purpose – it was released suspiciously close to the fourth movie in the franchse. Based on its trailer, it promised to be a great game – and once it was released, it measured up to its players’ hopes. Its visuals, sounds and animations, not to mention the cut scenes, were all top of the line, paying tribute to Steven Spielberg’s masterful work on the first movie in the series.

Jurassic Park is – rightly – one of the most popular slot machines you can play at the All Slots Casino.

Bridesmaids

Bridesmaids was not a blockbuster, like Jurassic Park, and neither did it involve explosions, superheroes or dinosaurs. But it was a great comedy, and it made a great slot machine, too. Players can join Annie (Kristen Wiig) and a ragtag team of bridesmaids on the wildest ride of their lives – to matrimony. True to the movie’s genre, the Bridesmaids slot machine is pink. So pink, in fact, that it might turn some male players away at first. But it’s worth a second look: it is stuffed with side games and bonuses, making it worth a chance.

Battlestar Galactica

While Battlestar Galactica is not a movie, strictly speaking – albeit the original mini-series would have deserved a big screen showing – it fits perfectly in the same category as the ones above. Battlestar Galactica was the best mistake SyFy made in the new century. It set such high standards that no other original series of the channel – not even The Expanse – could measure up to.

Fans of the series will be happy to reconvene with Starbuck, Apollo and Helo, Colonel Tigh and his wife Ellen, Chief Tyrol and even Caprica Six, on the reels of this excellent slot machine. And the Vipers, of course. The game manages to recreate the atmosphere of the more action-packed episodes of the series, those that involve dogfights and shootouts between the Cylons and the last remnants of the 12 Colonies. To make things more interesting, players can progress during the game – as they advance in their rank, they can unlock more and more videos from the series.

Where to play

All the above games, and many more – including several other movie-based slot machines – are available for free play at the All Slots Online Casino. The All Slots is a gaming destination with a long history, launched in 2001. In its history of over a decade, the All Slots has grown from one of the many similar operations into a reputable partner for its players, offering not only generous bonuses and a great collection of games, but also a completely secure and fair environment, and a quick, responsive and helpful customer support department.
