Deadline is reporting that Josh Segarra (Chicago P.D.) has signed on as a series regular for the fifth season of Arrow, where he will play Adrian Chase, “Star City’s new district attorney and an ally of Mayor Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), who aims to clean up the streets through the legal system.”
In the DC comic book universe, Chase is the civilian alter-ego of the Vigilante, and was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, making his debut back in 1983’s New Teen Titans Annual #2 before heading up his own solo series.
Segarra’s casting follows hot on the heels of the news that Rick Gonzalez (Reaper) is to play another masked vigilante, Wild Dog.
Arrow returns for its fifth season in the fall.
