Ghost Rider may be coming to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. after all, along with LMDs

July 1, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Last week, Marvel sparked speculation that the character of Ghost Rider could be set to feature in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., prompted by promotional artwork for the fourth season of the ABC show featuring a flaming chain.

While it was pointed out that said chain has been used by the Inhuman Hellfire in the show, a new casting report from TV Line has now added further fuel to the fire – although if true it’s probably not going to be good news for fans of Johnny Blaze or Danny Ketch.

The site is reporting that Marvel is casting “a pair of Latino brothers, one of whom is always the most dangerous person in the room, the other paralyzed in a wheelchair.” Speculation surrounding these two bothers has pointed to the characters of Robbie and Gabe Reyes, with the former the most recent character to take on the mantle of the Spirit of Vengeance in Marvel NOW!’s All-New Ghost Rider.

The report also goes on to state that LMD (Life Model Decoy) technology is finally going to be confirmed, with the producers looking to cast the recurring role of Aida, described as “a very attractive robot who moves about quite naturally but speaks a bit formally, like Iron Man’s Jarvis.”

So, Ghost Rider fans, are you excited at the prospect of seeing Robbie Reyes on the small screen? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
