Steven Seagal and Dolph Lundgren are set to team up for Deadly Arsenal, a new action thriller from VMI Worldwide, which will pit the two action icons against one another. Frequent Lundgren collaborator Gianni Capaldi is also attached to co-star. Here’s the official synopsis:
LT. DRAKE COLE (STEVEN SEGAL) discovers a nefarious international plot, to release a deadly virus which was stolen by an ex military mad man RICHARDS (DOLPH LUNDGREN), who’s set on changing the global political landscape. Cole employs his most trusted agent, BURTON LEE on the job. However, Lee has a problem, a CIA agent whom he has had a relationship with in the past is also on the job, JILLIAN.
The situation between them escalates into a war of the roses as they battle for their country and each other. They realize that if they’re to stop Richards from infecting the world they must forgo their national allegiance and join forces to protect the only woman who has created an immunity to the virus, ANNA.
Lt. Cole remotely guides the trio back to the United States through a gauntlet of bounty hunters, spies and killers all gunning for Richards. However, when both Lee and Jillian Become injured and Richards is close to releasing the virus, Lt. Cole sets out to kill Richards and put an end to the threat.
