Finn Jones reportedly confirms Iron Fist season 2

May 30, 2017 by Gary Collinson

While Netflix’s latest Marvel series Iron Fist was slammed by critics, it seems the streaming service isn’t ready to give up on Danny Rand just yet, as actor Finn Jones has reportedly confirmed at Puerto Rico Comic-Con 2017 that a season two announcement is coming “soon”.

Despite the mauling that Iron Fist took from critics, a second season isn’t overly surprising. The streaming service has renewed all of its Marvel shows to date, and the series still a success for Netflix, becoming the most binged premiere of the year, and second only to Luke Cage in terms of Netflix’s most-viewed Marvel shows.

Should Iron Fist be renewed, it will likely be a while before we get to see the second season, as Netflix has The Defenders, The Punisher, second seasons of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage and a third season of Daredevil all ahead of it in the queue.
