Batgirl next for DC, The Mummy to open huge, new Avengers: Infinity War cast member and more – Daily News Roundup

June 9, 2017 by Luke Owen

WHO’S THE GIRL?

With the huge success of Wonder Woman seemingly getting the DCEU back on track, it’s been revealed that Warner Bros. are putting plans into place for their next outing to possibly go into production by the end of the year. MUMMY BREAKING RECORDS?

Reviews have been mixed for the first part of the Dark Universe, but The Mummy could break some box office records when released this week. Domestic tracking is still low – around $35 million – but the international numbers are looking very positive. A new report suggests The Mummy could be the biggest international opening for Tom Cruise, and could pull in upwards of $135 million. Read more here.
