Last month it was announced that Sean Bean is set to headline The Oath, a new drama series from Crackle and creator Joe Halpin (Hawaii Five-O), and now Deadline is reporting that Bean will be joined in the cast by Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and Cory Hardrict (American Sniper).
The ten-episode series is being produced by Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson and his G-Unit Film & Television company and “explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join, but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks.”
Filming on The Oath is slated to begin this month in Puerto Rico and the show will premiere on Crackle in 2018.
