First Star Wars: Episode VII title rumour arrives

September 8, 2013 by admin

Well, it had to happen sooner or later… over the past few months we’ve been bombarded with reports about potential additions to the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII, and now we have our first potential title for the first instalment of Disney’s eagerly-anticipated Star Wars sequel trilogy.

According to a report on Talkbacker (via SlashFilm), “several trusted sources” have confirmed that one possible title under consideration for the J.J. Abrams’ directed sequel is Star Wars: Episode VII: A New Dawn, which obviously draws parallels with the subtitle for the original Star Wars – A New Hope, much like Revenge of the Sith did with Return of the Jedi.

Of course at this point it should be noted that A New Dawn could be nothing more than speculation, especially considering the fact that none of the previous Star Wars titles leaked before an official announcement from Lucasfilm. But, if it does turn out to be correct, what are your thoughts on A New Dawn as the title? Let us know in the comments below…
