Radial-G coming to PSVR and PS4 this September

September 9, 2017 by Villordsutch

Arriving on the 12th September from Tammeka and Perp, on both PSVR and the PS4, is the critically acclaimed arcade space racer Radial-G.  Already claiming the achievement of “Best Overall VR Experience”, at the Virtual Reality awards, Radial-G is the racing game designed for the adrenaline junkies across the gaming world.

Radial-G’s unique tubular tracks offer full 360-degree rotation, allowing players to spiral through the course in gut-wrenching twists, jumps and splits for the ultimate adrenaline rush. Players can compete online or offline in supersonic races across nine different courses, through mesmerising neon environments.

Radial-G was designed from the ground up to eliminate motion sickness, combining an incredibly smooth VR experience with its signature eye-watering speed for a truly immersive thrill ride. Players without VR headsets can still climb into the cockpit as Radial-G is optimised for both PSVR and traditional PS4 play.

“Radial-G is a lightning fast, immediately absorbing space racer on a medium popularised by first-person shooters and horror experiences. We set out to add something completely unique to the VR library.” Said Mark Cundle, founder & director of Tammeka Games. “We’re thrilled to invite PlayStation gamers to join our anti-gravity adrenaline rush, and we know they’ll never have experienced VR speed like this before.”

“Tammeka is a team of VR veterans and that really shows in the impeccable quality of Radial-G. They have exceeded all of our expectations with the PSVR version and we’re so excited to be working with them on the launch.” said Rob Edwards, MD and Founder of Perp.

Radial-G will be available to download from the 12th September and will head to stores across Europe from the 15th September for just £29.99 / €34.99.
