Star Wars audiobook will feature Jon Hamm as Boba Fett

September 16, 2017 by Gary Collinson

In October, Lucasfilm is set to explore the background characters of the galaxy far, far away with the release of Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View, which features 40 stories in celebration of Star Wars’ 40th anniversary.

Over on the official site, the voice cast for the audiobook version of the Del Rey anthology has been announced, with former Mad Men star Jon Hamm set to read a story based around the coolest bounty hunter in the galaxy, Boba Fett.

In addition to Hamm, the rest of the voice cast for the audio book includes Jonathan Davis, Ashley Eckstein, Janina Gavankar, Neil Patrick Harris, January LaVoy, Saskia Maarleveld, Carol Monda, Daniel José Older and Marc Thompson.

“Since we have over 40 authors in this collection retelling different moments from Star Wars literary history, we wanted to use the audiobook as an opportunity to work with an all-star cast of narrators,” said book producer Nick Martorelli. “We matched our veteran Star Wars narrators with stories that suited their talents, and from there we dreamed big and reached out to people who might have been interested in celebrating this landmark 40th anniversary project.”

Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View is set for release on October 3rd.
