Channing Tatum and Tom Hardy wanted for Beverly Hills Cop 4

September 21, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in June of last year, Paramount Pictures announced that it had dusted off its plans for a fourth instalment in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise, tapping Belgian writer-directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Black) to helm the newest chapter of the action-comedy series.

Since then, we’ve heard very little about their progress on the film, however Joblo is reporting that the duo recently made an appearance on a Dutch talk show, where they revealed that they were looking at making the film on a $50 million budget and shooting in Detroit.

Furthermore, they said that the film would see Eddie Murphy’s Axel Foley as a seasoned Beverly Hills detective, who finds himself clashing with a hardened cop from Detroit. The filmmaker then went on to suggest that they were looking at Tom Hardy and Channing Tatum for the role.

Are you excited about the prospect of Beverly Hills Cop 4? Who would you like to see cast alongside Eddie Murphy? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
