Alan Partridge is to return to the silver screen in a sequel to last year’s hit Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa. Henry Normal, the co-founder of Steve Coogan’s production company Baby Cow, revealed to The Guardian that a sequel is in the works.
“We are planning a sequel, yes, that will be great. We are also looking at doing more Mid Morning Matters and another Sky special, a little bit like Coast with Alan Partridge, except I don’t think he goes out of Norfolk. We start writing now and I think we make it at the end of summer.”
Alan Partidge: Alpha Papa was a success here in the UK with over £6 million at the box office, and the film will add to that when it opens internationally in the summer.
