Max Deacon, Nathan Kress & Alycia Debnam Carey – Into the Storm interview

August 20, 2014 by admin

Into the Storm is released in UK cinemas today, and Flickering Myth TV were lucky enough to sit down with a bunch of the film’s stars. Second up (watch our first interview here) is our chat with actors Max Deacon (Summer in February, I, Anna), Nathan Kress (Chicken Little, iCarly) and Alycia Debnam Carey (Dream Life, Dance Academy) – to chat about their experiences on the movie, which you can watch below.

Taking the disaster movie genre and giving it a found-footage twist, here’s the synopsis for Into the Storm:

In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.

Told through the eyes and lenses of professional storm chasers, thrill-seeking amateurs, and courageous townspeople, “Into the Storm” throws you directly into the eye of the storm to experience Mother Nature at her most extreme.

Into the Storm features a cast that includes Richard Armitage (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug), Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead), Matt Walsh (Ted), Alycia Debnam-Carey (Where the Devil Hides), Arlen Escarpeta (Final Destination 5), Nathan Kress (iCarly), Jon Reep (Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay), and Jeremy Sumpter (Friday Night Lights) and is out in UK cinemas from today. Make sure to keep checking back here throughout the rest of the week for more interviews, read our ★ ★ review here and watch our Flickering Myth co-editor Luke Owen going a bit crazy in the movie’s Oculus Rift experience here.
