AMC renews Preacher for a third season

Co-Creator Seth Rogen has taken to Twitter to announce that AMC has renewed its Preacher TV adaptation for a third season, which is set to air in 2018.

Based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, Preacher stars Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer, a small-town preacher who is given the power to command others to do as he says thanks to a mysterious entity called Genesis. Jesse embarks on journey to find God, where he is joined by his hell-raising ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Nega) and Irish vampire Caddisy (Joseph Gilgun).
