Not content with bringing back virtually every character still breathing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Avengers: Infinity War and its as-yet-untitled sequel, it seems that Marvel Studios and the Russos may be throwing a few deceased ones into the mix too.
There’s already been rumours that Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter could feature (although that could also be in Ant-Man and the Wasp) in Avengers 4, and now Robert Downey Jr. has sparked speculation that Frank Grillo’s Brock Rumlow / Crossbones and Maximiliano Hernandez’s Jasper Sitwell could feature in the film, with both actors appearing in a photo shared by Downey at a charity event in Atlanta.

Now, it’s possible that both Grillo and Hernandez were just visiting friends, but Grillo has recently revealed that Marvel has plans for his character, and we already know that Avengers 4 will feature a flashback to the first Avengers movie, so it’s entirely possible that corrupt S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Rumlow and Sitwell could pop up as part of another flashback.
