Rashida Jones and Nick Offerman set for animated White Fang movie

November 6, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Deadline is reporting that Parks and Recreation’s Rashida Jones and Nick Offerman are set to reunite on a new animated adaptation of Jack London’s classic novel White Fang.

The new film is being directed by Alexandre Espirages, the Oscar-winning director of the short Mr. Hublot, from a script by Dominique Monfery and Serge Frusman. Clément Calvet and Jérémie Fajner (Song of the Sea) of French animation company Superprod are producing alongside Marc Turtletaub and Peter Saraf of Big Beach and Lilian Eche and Christel Henon of Bidibul Productions.

The 1906 novel tells the story of a canine’s pull between life in the wild and a life of domestication. Offerman and Jones will lend their voices to the married couple Weedon and Maggie Scott, who rescues White Fang from a life of dog-fighting and attempts to tame him.
