DC reveals wedding date for Batman and Catwoman, but The Joker is not happy

February 2, 2018 by Ricky Church

Tom King has done some pretty exciting things on the Batman title ever since he started writing it at the beginning of DC Rebirth, none more so than perhaps Batman’s marriage proposal to Catwoman in Batman #24. Now DC has revealed the date of the wedding will be July 4th in Batman #50. However, they may have someone who will crash the wedding and not hold their peace: The Joker.

The countdown to the big day will begin with the one-shot issue DC Nation #0. Tom King will reunite with his Batman artist Clay Mann for a short story in the issue. In their tale, The Joker learns of their impending wedding and is none too pleased to hear the news. The story will lead into the big event that will take place in the anniversary issue Batman #50.

Also included in DC Nation #0 is a Superman story written by Brian Michael Bendis with art done by the famous José Luis García-López that will lead into Bendis’ weekly Man of Steel miniseries and a prologue to Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV and Joshua Williamson’s Justice League: No Justice series from another famous classic artist, Jorge Jimenez.

DC Nation #0 will be released on May 4th and go on sale for a shockingly low 25 cents.
