Keanu Reeves’ John Wick explodes into theaters today

October 24, 2014 by Gary Collinson

After a foray into the world of martial arts with last year’s Man of Tai Chi and 47 Ronin, Keanu Reeves is back Stateside for his latest action thriller John Wick, which opens in North America today ahead of a UK release in January…

Directed by David Leitch and Chad Stahelski, John Wick is currently rocking a perfect 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and sees Reeves portraying the titular character, an ex-hitman who comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him, turning New York City into a bullet-riddled playground in the process.

Also featuring in the cast are Bridget Moynahan (Blue Bloods), Adrianne Palicki (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Michael Nyqvist (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol), Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter), Bridget Regan (Legend of the Seeker), Willem Dafoe (The Fault in Our Stars), Lance Reddick (The Wire), Daniel Bernhardt (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones) and Dean Winters (Oz).
