Jedward join Tara Reid in Sharknado 3

February 17, 2015 by Gary Collinson

It looks like Syfy is starting to fill out its cast of z-list celebrity cameos for Sharknado 3, with Tara Reid revealing via her Instagram that Jedward – a.k.a. former X-Factor contestents John and Edward Grimes – are set to appear in the threequel.

Reid met the duo back in 2011 during Celebrity Big Brother, and had previously suggested that they would appear last year’s sequel Sharknado 2: The Second One. Obviously that didn’t work out, but anyone who’s been hoping to see the brothers devoured by a swarm of blood-thirsty sharks won’t have long to wait, as Sharknado 3 is kicking off production ahead of a premiere on Syfy this July.
