Chris Chalk cast as Lucius Fox in Gotham, Jada Pinkett Smith not returning for season 2

March 7, 2015 by Gary Collinson

FOX has added another key character from the Batman mythos to the cast of its prequel series Gotham, with Chris Chalk (Homeland, 12 Years a Slave) signing on to play Wayne Enterprises tech expert Lucius Fox. Chalk will make his debut in episode 21 of the first season, with an option to return for season two.

Meanwhile, one character who looks unlikely to be back for the second season is Fish Mooney, with Jada Pinkett Smith stating this week that: “I signed on for a year, and the year is up. I did my year and I had a good time. The show is going to have an awesome finale.”
