Lesley-Ann Brandt replaces Lina Esco in Lucifer pilot

March 18, 2015 by Gary Collinson

As Lucifer gears up to go into production, Warner Bros. TV has made a slight reshuffle to the cast of the Fox pilot, with Lesley-Ann Brandt (Spartacus, Gotham) signing on to replace Lina Esco (CSI) in the role of Maze, a “fierce demon” and best pal to the titular Lord of Hell. According to Deadline, the decision was made following a table read with the cast.

Len Wiseman (Underworld) is directing the DC adaptation, with Tom Ellis (Once Upon a Time) taking on the lead role as Lucifer alongside Lauren German (The Divide), D.B. Woodside (24), Rachael Harris (Suits) and Nicholas Gonzalez (Sleepy Hollow).
