Chris Evans is currently juggling the press tour for Avengers: Age of Ultron with pre-production on Marvel’s Phase Three launching Captain America: Civil War, and during an interview with Esquire (via Collider), the star has been speaking about his upcoming Marvel commitments, including the two-part Avengers: Infinity War.
After stating that production on Civil War will run through until “August or September,” Evans revealed Marvel’s plan for Avengers:Infinity War, stating that production will begin in the fall or winter of next year: “That’s going to be like nine months to shoot both [Infinity War] movies back to back.”
Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 is set for release on May 2nd 2018, followed by Avengers: Infinity War – Part 2 on May 3rd, 2019. The films will reunite Evans with Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War directors Anthony and Joe russo, as well as screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
